TO MARKET, TO MARKET. TO market, to market, to buy a fat Pig;Home again, home again, dancing a jig.   To market, to market, to buy a fat Hog;Home again, home again, jiggety-jog.    
  THERE WAS A MAN. There was a man, and he had nought,And robbers came to rob him;   He crept up to the chimney-pot,     And then they could not find him;   He ran fourteen miles in fifteen days,And never looked behind him.

You owe me ten shillings, When I grow rich, Say the bells at St. Helen's. Say the bells at Shoreditch. When will you pay me? Pray when will that be? Say the bells at Old Bailey.   Say the bells of Stepney.   I am sure I don't know,Says the great bell of Bow. Here comes a candle to light you to bed,And here comes a chopper to chop off your head.
 
GOOSEY, GOOSEY GANDER. Goosey, Goosey Gander,Where shall I wander?   Upstairs, downstairs,And in my lady's chamber.   There I met an old manThat would not say his prayers:I took him by the left leg,And threw him downstairs.
