Thomas Malory
Sir Thomas Malory was an English writer best known for his work "Le Morte d'Arthur," a compilation of Arthurian legends. Written in the 15th century, it presents the tales of King Arthur, Guinevere, Lancelot, Merlin, and the Knights of the Round Table. Malory’s work is considered one of the most important literary sources for the Arthurian legends in English and helped popularize these medieval stories. Little is known about his life, but he is believed to have been a knight and may have written much of "Le Morte d'Arthur" while imprisoned.
