Samuel A. (Samuel Atkins) Eliot
Samuel Atkins Eliot Jr. (1893–1984) was an American author, historian, and Unitarian minister. He is best known for his work "A History of Cambridge, Massachusetts, 1630-1913," a detailed historical account of the city’s development. Eliot was the son of Samuel Atkins Eliot, a prominent figure in the American Unitarian Association. In addition to his historical writings, he contributed to religious literature and was deeply engaged in community service and educational efforts throughout his life.
