Robert Ross
Robbie Ross (1869–1918) was a Canadian-born journalist, art critic, and literary figure best known for his close relationship with Oscar Wilde. He was Wilde's first male lover and a lifelong friend, remaining loyal to him during his trial and imprisonment. Ross was also instrumental in preserving Wilde's legacy, editing his works and securing the publication of "De Profundis." In addition to his literary work, Ross was a patron of the arts and a key figure in the Aesthetic Movement.
