Rabindranath Tagore
Rabindranath Tagore was an Indian polymath who made significant contributions as a poet, playwright, novelist, and painter, becoming the first non-European to win the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1913 for his collection "Gitanjali." He was a key figure in the Bengali Renaissance and an influential voice in Indian cultural and political life, advocating for social reform and Indian independence.
