R. R. (Russell Robert) Winterbotham
Russell Robert Winterbotham (1904–1971) was an American writer known for his work in science fiction, westerns, and comic book adaptations. He wrote under his own name as well as the pseudonym "J. Harvey Bond" and contributed to numerous pulp magazines during the mid-20th century. Some of his notable science fiction works include "The Space Egg" and "The Red Planet," which were serialized in popular magazines. Winterbotham also worked on juvenile novels and scripted comic strips, showcasing his versatility across genres.
