Paramahansa Yogananda
Paramahansa Yogananda (1893–1952) was a renowned Indian spiritual leader and author who introduced millions in the West to the teachings of meditation and Kriya Yoga through his book "Autobiography of a Yogi." He founded the Self-Realization Fellowship in 1920, which continues to spread his message of spiritual unity and inner peace. Yogananda's teachings emphasize the direct experience of God through personal meditation and the harmonization of Eastern and Western spiritual traditions. His works, including "The Second Coming of Christ" and "Man’s Eternal Quest," remain influential in spiritual and philosophical circles worldwide.
