Maginel Wright Barney (1881–1966) was an American illustrator and children's book author. She was known for her delicate illustrations in books like "The Little Green Frog" and "The Turned-Into's," often creating charming, colorful works that complemented the stories. Maginel was the sister of architect Frank Lloyd Wright and the mother of actress Anne Baxter. In addition to children's books, she also illustrated magazines, advertisements, and calendars, contributing to early 20th-century popular culture.
