Leon Benett
Léon Benett, a French illustrator and artist, was born in 1839 and is best known for his work illustrating the adventure novels of Jules Verne. His detailed and imaginative illustrations helped bring to life many of Verne's classic works such as "Around the World in Eighty Days" and "The Mysterious Island." Benett also illustrated novels by authors like André Laurie and other popular writers of the late 19th century. His distinctive style, combining realism with fantastical elements, made him one of the most prominent illustrators of French adventure literature during his time.
