Joseph K. (Joseph Ketchum) Edgerton
Joseph Ketchum Edgerton (1818–1893) was an American politician, lawyer, and writer. He served as a U.S. Representative from Indiana and was known for his work as a lawyer in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Edgerton wrote several works, including "A History of the Town of Fort Wayne" and "The Life of Chief Little Turtle," which focused on the local history of Indiana and its Native American heritage. His writings reflect his deep interest in the region’s history and its influential figures.
