Howard Browne
Howard Browne was an American writer and editor, best known for his work in the pulp magazine industry during the mid-20th century. He is notable for his work as editor of "Amazing Stories" and "Fantastic Adventures", two of the most prominent science fiction magazines of their time. Browne also wrote detective novels, including "Halo in Brass" and "Halo for Satan," under the pseudonym John Evans. His ability to craft both hardboiled crime fiction and science fiction made him a versatile and influential figure in the pulp fiction era.
