H. Byerley Thomson
Henry Byerley Thomson (1822–1867) was a British legal writer and colonial administrator. He was known for his expertise in law and his significant contributions to legal literature. Among his notable works are "The Laws of War Affecting Commerce and Shipping" and "The Military Forces and Institutions of Great Britain". Thomson's writings were influential in shaping the understanding of military law and its implications on commerce during his time.
