George Palmer Putnam
George Palmer Putnam (1887–1950) was an American publisher, author, and explorer. He is best known for his work as the publisher of notable authors, including Charles Lindbergh and Amelia Earhart, to whom he was married. Putnam wrote and edited several books, including "Soaring Wings" and "Death Valley and Its Country," showcasing his interests in aviation and exploration. He played a significant role in promoting Earhart's career, organizing her public appearances and managing her expeditions.
