Frances Ridley Havergal
Frances Ridley Havergal (1836–1879) was an English religious poet, hymn writer, and devotional author. Known for her deep Christian faith, she composed many beloved hymns, including "Take My Life and Let It Be" and "Like a River Glorious." Havergal also wrote devotional books such as "Kept for the Master's Use," blending poetry and prose with spiritual guidance. Despite her short life, her work has had a lasting influence on Christian hymnody and devotional literature.
