Florence Warden
Florence Warden was an English novelist and playwright known for her contributions to popular fiction in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Born Florence Alice Price, she worked as an actress before finding success as a writer with her debut novel, "The House on the Marsh" (1882), which became a bestseller. Warden specialized in mystery, romance, and adventure stories, often featuring intricate plots and strong, independent female protagonists. Her prolific career produced numerous novels, including "A Witch of the Hills" and "The Heiress of Wylmington," solidifying her reputation in Victorian popular literature.
