Eugenia Dunlap Potts
Eugenia Dunlap Potts (1840–1912) was an American writer and poet known for her works of historical fiction and her contributions to Southern literature. She authored several books, including "The Song of Lancaster" and "A Kentucky Girl in Dixie," which focused on life in the South during the Civil War. Potts was born in Kentucky and her writings often reflect her regional pride and Southern heritage. Beyond fiction, she also wrote for various periodicals, sharing essays and poems.
