Edwin E. (Edwin Emery) Slosson
Edwin Emery Slosson (1865–1929) was an American chemist, journalist, and author known for popularizing science through his writing. He was the first editor of "Science Service", an organization dedicated to making scientific news accessible to the public. Slosson authored several influential books, including "Creative Chemistry" (1919), which aimed to explain complex scientific ideas in a way that laypeople could understand. His work helped bridge the gap between scientists and the general public, making him a pioneer in science communication.
