Edwin Balmer
Edwin Balmer was an American writer and editor, best known for his works in science fiction and mystery genres. He co-authored the science fiction novel "When Worlds Collide" (1933) with Philip Wylie, which became a classic and was later adapted into a film. Balmer also served as editor for "Redbook" magazine, where he influenced popular fiction of the time. His other notable works include the sequel "After Worlds Collide" and the detective series featuring Luther Trant.
