Edith Thomas
Edith Thomas (1909–1970) was a French writer, historian, and poet known for her work on women's history and involvement in the French Resistance during World War II. She wrote several historical studies, including "The Women of 1793," which focused on women revolutionaries during the French Revolution. Thomas was also involved in the literary scene, contributing to publications such as "Les Lettres françaises." Her personal experiences during the war and her political engagement deeply influenced her writings.
