Eberhard Dennert (1861–1942) was a German biologist, philosopher, and writer known for his contributions to the debate between science and religion. He was a prominent critic of Darwinism and an advocate for theistic views, emphasizing the role of a creator in the natural world. Dennert authored several books, including "Vom Sterbelager des Darwinismus" ("On the Deathbed of Darwinism"), where he argued against the theory of evolution.
