Allen French
Allen French (1870–1946) was an American historian, novelist, and children's author known for his works on American history and historical fiction. He is particularly recognized for his retellings of medieval and Icelandic sagas, such as "The Story of Rolf and the Viking Bow" and "Heroes of Iceland." French also wrote extensively about the American Revolutionary War, including "The Siege of Boston," blending scholarly research with engaging narratives.
