Ales Hrdlicka
Aleš Hrdlička was a Czech-American anthropologist known for his research on human evolution and migration. He was a key figure in the early development of physical anthropology in the United States and founded the American Journal of Physical Anthropology. Hrdlička's notable works include "The Anthropology of the Near East" and "The Skeletal Remains Suggesting or Attributed to Early Man in North America," where he questioned the early presence of humans in North America.
