Wilhelm Hauff
Wilhelm Hauff (1802–1827) was a German writer known for his fairy tales and historical novels. Despite his short life, he produced several works that became classics of German literature, including the famous fairy tales "The Little Muck" and "The Story of the Caliph Stork." His collection "Fairy Tales" (1826) is one of his most enduring works, blending imagination with moral lessons. Hauff was also noted for his novel "Lichtenstein" (1826), which helped revive interest in the historical novel genre in Germany.
