Van Tassel Sutphen
Van Tassel Sutphen was an American author, playwright, and illustrator born in 1861. He is best known for his fantasy and supernatural fiction, including his novel "The Doomsman" (1906), which explores a post-apocalyptic future. Sutphen's works often combine elements of speculative fiction with adventure, and he contributed to the early development of American science fiction. In addition to his writing, he was also an accomplished illustrator and contributed to several magazines.
