Thomas Cantrell Dugdale
Thomas Cantrell Dugdale (1880–1952) was a British painter and illustrator known for his portraits and figure studies. In addition to his work as a visual artist, he illustrated numerous books and designed posters for the war effort during World War I and World War II. Dugdale was also a member of the Royal Academy and exhibited widely throughout his career. He illustrated works like "The Cloister and the Hearth" by Charles Reade and made significant contributions to book art and illustration during the early 20th century.
