Theodore Martin
Theodore Martin (1816–1909) was a Scottish biographer, translator, and poet. He is best known for his biographies, particularly "The Life of His Royal Highness the Prince Consort," which chronicled the life of Prince Albert, consort of Queen Victoria. Martin was also an accomplished translator, rendering works like "Faust" by Goethe into English. In addition to his literary work, he wrote under the pseudonym Bon Gaultier for satirical writings.
