T. W. (Thomas William) Allies
Thomas William Allies (1813–1903) was an English writer and historian known for his works on religious and ecclesiastical topics. Originally an Anglican clergyman, Allies converted to Roman Catholicism in 1850, which greatly influenced his writings. His major works include "The Formation of Christendom," an ambitious multi-volume series exploring the development of Christian civilization. Allies also wrote autobiographical works, such as "A Life's Decision," detailing his religious journey and conversion.
