T. C. (Thomas Cooper) De Leon
Thomas Cooper De Leon (1839–1914) was an American journalist, playwright, and novelist known for his Southern perspective during and after the Civil War. He authored "Four Years in Rebel Capitals", which provided a vivid account of life in the Confederate capital cities. De Leon was also a prolific writer of plays and contributed to various Southern newspapers and magazines. His works often reflected his loyalty to the South, offering a unique view of the Civil War and its aftermath from a Confederate sympathizer's standpoint.
