Stanley Mullen
Stanley Mullen was an American science fiction and fantasy writer, active primarily in the 1940s and 1950s. He is best known for his novel "Kinsmen of the Dragon" (1951), which blends science fiction and fantasy elements in a story of ancient Martian civilizations. Mullen also contributed numerous short stories to pulp magazines like "Weird Tales" and "Planet Stories", where his work was noted for its imaginative, sometimes surreal, style. In addition to writing, Mullen was an artist and publisher, founding Gorgon Press, which released some of his own fiction and other genre works.
