Seymour Eaton
Seymour Eaton (1859–1916) was a Canadian-born author, educator, and journalist who gained popularity in the United States. He is best known for his children’s books, particularly the "Teddy Bears" series, which were inspired by President Theodore Roosevelt and his association with teddy bears. Eaton also created the character "The Roosevelt Bears" and wrote stories for publications such as "The Saturday Evening Post". In addition to his work in children's literature, Eaton was involved in education and adult correspondence courses, contributing to the development of distance learning.
