Rolf Boldrewood
Rolf Boldrewood was the pen name of Australian author Thomas Alexander Browne, born in 1826. He is best known for his classic novel "Robbery Under Arms" (1882), which tells the story of bushrangers and outlaws in the Australian outback. Boldrewood drew heavily on his personal experiences as a squatter and magistrate in rural Australia to craft his tales of colonial life. His other notable works include "The Miner's Right" (1890) and "A Modern Buccaneer" (1894).
