Roland Pertwee
Roland Pertwee (1885–1963) was a British playwright, screenwriter, novelist, and actor. He is best known for his work in film and television, including co-writing the screenplay for Alfred Hitchcock's "The Man Who Knew Too Much" (1934). Pertwee authored several novels, including "The Trail of the Serpent" and "Death in the Air." He was the father of actor Jon Pertwee, who became famous for portraying the third Doctor in the long-running British series "Doctor Who."
