Rodrigues Ottolengui
Rodrigues Ottolengui (1861–1937) was an American author and dentist known for his contributions to both detective fiction and forensic dentistry. He wrote a number of early detective novels, including "An Artist in Crime" (1892) and "Final Proof" (1898), which featured scientific approaches to crime-solving. Ottolengui was also a pioneer in orthodontics and was influential in advancing dental practices in the U.S. His dual career in writing and dentistry made him a unique figure in late 19th and early 20th-century literature.
