Prentiss Ingraham
Prentiss Ingraham (1843–1904) was a prolific American author, best known for his adventure and dime novels. He wrote over 600 novels, often under various pseudonyms, and gained popularity for his thrilling tales of the Wild West, pirates, and soldiers. Ingraham is particularly famous for contributing to the "Buffalo Bill" series, helping to cement the legend of the frontier scout. Some of his notable works include "The Masked Spy" and "Buffalo Bill, The King of Border Men."
