Margaret Sanger
Margaret Sanger was an American birth control activist, sex educator, writer, and nurse. She is best known for founding the birth control movement in the United States and opening the first birth control clinic in 1916. Her advocacy led to the establishment of organizations that would eventually evolve into Planned Parenthood. Sanger also authored several works, including "Family Limitation" and "The Pivot of Civilization," which supported reproductive rights and women's health.
