Margaret Fuller
Margaret Fuller (1810-1850) was an American journalist, editor, and women's rights advocate associated with the Transcendentalist movement. She was the first full-time female book reviewer in journalism, writing for the "New-York Tribune". Her most famous work, "Woman in the Nineteenth Century" (1845), is considered one of the earliest feminist texts in the U.S., advocating for gender equality. Fuller was also a close associate of Ralph Waldo Emerson and played a significant role in shaping the intellectual landscape of her time.
