Margaret has a multifaceted career background that includes teaching, Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO) work, and electoral administration. She has played a pivotal role in governance and promoting democracy in post-conflict countries in her roles as an administrator with the Kenyan Government and a specialist in United Nations (UN) peacekeeping missions with a cumulative experience spanning over three decades. She is committed to mentoring and empowering young women to achieve their full potential. She is a counsellor, a meticulous organiser, and a nurturing figure to many. In her pastime, she sings in the church choir, enjoys a boat ride, and attends theatrical performances.
