Kisari Mohan Ganguli
Kisari Mohan Ganguli was an Indian scholar and translator renowned for being the first to complete an English translation of the Mahabharata, an ancient Indian epic. His monumental work, published between 1883 and 1896, spans 18 volumes and is highly regarded for its fidelity to the original text. Ganguli's translation remains a seminal reference for both scholars and general readers interested in Indian mythology and literature.
