Kelly Miller
Kelly Miller (1863–1939) was an influential African American intellectual, mathematician, and writer. He was the first Black student to attend Johns Hopkins University and became a prominent advocate for African American education and civil rights. Miller authored several works, including "Race Adjustment" and "Out of the House of Bondage," which addressed issues of race, inequality, and social justice. He was also a dean at Howard University, where he worked to expand educational opportunities for Black students.
