Keith Laumer
Keith Laumer (1925–1993) was an American science fiction author known for his military and diplomatic-themed works, particularly the "Bolo" series and the "Retief" series. His Bolo stories feature intelligent, self-aware tanks, while the Retief series showcases a satirical take on diplomacy through the adventures of diplomat Jame Retief. Laumer's background in the U.S. Air Force and as a diplomat influenced his writing, often blending action with sharp political commentary. Notable works include "A Plague of Demons" and "The Glory Game".
