Katharine Pyle
Katharine Pyle (1863–1938) was an American author, illustrator, and poet known for her contributions to children's literature. She wrote and illustrated numerous books, including "The Counterpane Fairy" and "The Christmas Angel." In addition to her writing, she created illustrations for works by her brother, the famous author Howard Pyle, as well as for her own stories. Katharine Pyle's style often incorporated fairy tales, folklore, and imaginative storytelling, making her an important figure in early 20th-century children's literature.
