Josephine Lawrence
Josephine Lawrence (1889–1978) was an American author known for her prolific career in writing both children's books and adult fiction. She wrote more than 30 novels, often focusing on themes of family dynamics, aging, and the struggles of everyday people. Some of her best-known works include "Years Are So Long" (1934), which was adapted into the film "Make Way for Tomorrow", and "If I Have Four Apples" (1935). Lawrence also worked as a journalist and editor, contributing to magazines and newspapers throughout her career.
