James Hudson Taylor
James Hudson Taylor was a British Protestant Christian missionary to China and the founder of the China Inland Mission (now OMF International). He was born in 1832 and spent over 50 years in China, where he was known for adopting Chinese dress and customs to better integrate with the local culture. Taylor authored several books, including "China: Its Spiritual Need and Claims" and "Union and Communion," focusing on Christian missions and spirituality. His work greatly influenced the spread of Christianity in China during the 19th century, and he remains a significant figure in missionary history.
