J. Walker (Joseph Walker) McSpadden
Joseph Walker McSpadden (1874–1960) was an American author and editor known for his contributions to children's literature and biographies. He wrote extensively on classic literature and folk tales, producing works such as "Famous Detectives" and "Famous Women." His book "Stories from Wagner" brought the operas of Richard Wagner to a younger audience, simplifying them into engaging stories.
