Jirah Dewey Buck (1838–1916) was an American physician, Freemason, and author known for his work on esoteric and philosophical topics. He was a prominent figure in the Theosophical Society and wrote extensively on Freemasonry, spirituality, and theosophy. His notable works include "Mystic Masonry" (1896), which explores the symbolic and philosophical aspects of Freemasonry, and "The Genius of Freemasonry and the Twentieth-Century Crusade" (1907). Buck's writings combined his medical knowledge with his deep interest in metaphysical ideas, making significant contributions to both Freemasonic and Theosophical literature.
