Herman Bernstein
Herman Bernstein (1876-1935) was an American journalist, author, translator, and diplomat born in Lithuania. He was a prolific writer who founded and edited several newspapers, and he translated works by Leo Tolstoy and Maxim Gorky into English. Bernstein is known for his books such as "The History of a Lie," in which he exposed the fraudulent "Protocols of the Elders of Zion." He also served as the U.S. Ambassador to Albania from 1930 to 1933.
