Henry White Warren
Henry White Warren (1831–1912) was an American Methodist Episcopal bishop, educator, and author. He wrote several influential works, including "Recreations in Astronomy," a popular book that explained astronomical concepts for a general audience. Warren was also a prominent figure in the Methodist Church, serving as a bishop and advocating for education and social reform. In addition to his religious work, he wrote books such as "The Heart of Methodism" and "Among the Forces," blending scientific exploration with moral and religious reflections.
