Henry Stevens (1819–1886) was an American bibliographer and book dealer who became renowned for his work in collecting and preserving rare books, particularly those related to American history. He played a key role in acquiring important collections for British institutions like the British Museum. Stevens authored several bibliographical works, including "The Bibles in the Caxton Exhibition," which detailed early printed Bibles. He is also remembered for his meticulous cataloging of early American imprints and manuscripts, significantly contributing to the preservation of American historical documents.
