Hannah More
Hannah More (1745–1833) was an English writer, philanthropist, and social reformer. She was a prominent figure in the evangelical movement and used her literary talents to promote moral and religious education, especially among the poor. More was also involved in the abolitionist movement, using her writings to support the campaign against slavery. In addition to her social activism, she was a successful playwright and author, with her works addressing issues of morality, education, and women's roles in society.
