George Bryce

George Bryce
George Bryce was a Canadian historian, writer, and Presbyterian minister, born in 1844 in Ontario. He is best known for his works on Canadian history, including "The Remarkable History of the Hudson's Bay Company" and "A Short History of the Canadian People." Bryce played a significant role in documenting the early history of Manitoba and the development of the Red River Settlement. His scholarly work helped preserve Canada's historical heritage, particularly regarding the fur trade and indigenous peoples.
